Skelia was able to launch the platform. Depending on the phase of development, the team conducted weekly or daily standup for project follow-ups. They also hosted bi-weekly planning to make sure proper resources are available. Their communication is clear and direct.

Travel Companion App to enhance clients' journeys
Our client was a leading European travel company, selling around 1.6 million trips annually. As a member of one of the most prominent leisure travel groups in the world, our customer was supported by 21,000 employees and served over 22 million customers annually THE ENGAGEMENT Technologies: iOS: Swift, Objective-C, CocoaPods, Fastlane, Firebase, Facebook SDK, Lottie, AFNetworking, Mantle, ASSA, OCMock, XCTest, SwiftLint, APNS Android: Kotlin, Java, Retrofit 2, SQLite (Room), Firebase, Glide, Lottie, Architecture Components, Kotlin Coroutines and Flows, Espresso The client operated passenger airlines, package holidays, cruise lines, hotels, and resorts. By the time our cooperation started, our customer had already been using a travel campaign app that provided useful information for people who’ve booked a trip. They wanted to develop new features for the app to improve the customer experience at each step of the journey: Get ready for the trip Collect insights and get support in real-time during the trip Provide feedback about journeys and find inspiration for new travel adventures. THE RESULTS For over four years Skelia had already been acted as the client’s strategic partner for software development and quality assurance, covering diverse areas including e-commerce, ERP, API systems, and more. That is why the client decided to extend Skelia’s scope to add mobile travel business solutions and build its own dedicated mobile team. The team consisted of: Technical Lead/Scrum Master 3 iOS Developers 5 Android Developers 3 QA/Automation Engineers. The team was working together with the client’s on-site teams to develop five travel companion native iOS and Android apps with language and content localization for five countries. The Skelia team was responsible for: technical design and implementation of the enhancements manual and automation testing on different stages requirements analysis and composing requirements for new features close collaboration with the UX team running the demo session and publishing the apps to stores gathering and prioritizing customer feedback.

It provides a complete overview of all of the products that the market offers. On one hand, it gives customers a faster and more complete offer and on the other, it results in more efficient advertising spending for retailers. THE ENGAGEMENT Technologies: PHP, Elasticsearch, Microsoft Azure, MongoDB, and Python Skelia helped to build Find.me’s Data Science model right from scratch. This model contained a mixture of analytic approaches for Find.me/mycar: 1. Analysis and processing of static, content-based models; 2. Dynamic, collaborative filtering models for individual items, based on user actions and preferences; 3. Dynamic, collaborative filtering models for subcategories, based on user actions and preferences; 4. A rule-based model that combined collaborative subcategories and content-based models. THE RESULTS At present, the basic platform for car search with virtual assistance is complete and successfully launched on the market. Find.me/mycar helps people to easily find the best option for their future car and it saves them tons of hours they would have needed to spend on the internet.
