In 2006, NIC created a wholly owned subsidiary, NIC Services, LLC, to develop a comprehensive suite of payment solutions with government in mind. Our payment solutions encompass the full life cycle of payments, from origination to disbursement to reporting. Our payment solutions not only function correctly according to accounting and audit standards, they also exceed the standards set by the Payment Card Industry. NIC Services offers a full life cycle transaction management solution which includes gateway and merchant services, plus extensive financial reporting and funds disbursement – all hosted in the cloud at our PCI-DSS Level 1 Data Centers.
